No. 114 Zhenbang Road is a restaurant project for the renovation of old buildings. It is located in a five-storey arcade on the corner of the street. Each floor area is about 45 square meters. Before the renovation, the building and the surrounding buildings were all in the shape of an arcade, but due to the age and poor maintenance, the appearance was old.
The designer hopes that the façade after the renovation will bring a light and bright feeling to the old streets, while maintaining the inner connection with the traditional architectural form; then the designer replaces the original façade with a hollow aluminum veneer and The size of Xiamen traditional red bricks is used as a modulus to express the traditional form with modern materials. At the same time, combined with the daily illumination data, the holes are parameterized, and the dense and gradual changes are formed from bottom to top to ensure the lighting and heat preservation of each floor of each day of the day.
